Every time I watch some show about celebreties or glamor I wonder myself is it possible that we’re such hypocrites. When I see some reportage on some new designer clothes it disgusts me becaouse there is so much problem in the world and the people don’t give a damn about them. How can society be so unbiased on hunger , rapings, slave labor, drugs …
The main thing is that some fancy girl has money to buy expensive piece of clothing or a guy so he can buy original Police sunglasses. All that money that is going on useless stuff can go into truly meaningful causes.
I think it is the media’s fault. They always inflate the “rich and famous”. I don’t care about prince Harry and that he is going to Iraq when some woman in Darfur was just raped by Janjaweed . I don’t care for P.Hilton’s escapades when some kid has just starved to death on the streets of Calcuta. Then why do some people care for such meaningless things?
Over the last twenty years our morals seem to have totally flipped, and vanity is now an accepted form of behaviour. Every one is chasing the fountain of youth and no one worries about being a good person anymore. I am scared for the future if we don’t start to reverse this unacceptable trend.

I have a pair of sunglasses that a friend gave me for our son before he was born…he actually likes them!! The only thing though, is I’m bad about losing things so I want to get a couple more pairs (so I can keep a pair in my car, a pair in hubby’s truck, and a pair in the house)…but I can’t seem to find these things anywhere! I know the pair we have came from target (they are dark blue with a baseball printed on each side)…but I can’t find them yet and I know by this time (actually earlier) last year they were already out…
Any idea where else I can find some little sunglasses? I haven’t had any problems (so far) with him trying to take them off or anything and he actually seems to be comfortable wearing them which is very surprising to me…
I have seen them at pretty much every dollar store (Dollarama) out here in Canada. Have you checked yours?
